Biketoberfest presented by The Charlotte Knights was bigger and better than ever this year! Almost 600 participants, over 100 volunteers, 32 sponsors, 2 routes and 2 protected bike lanes all came together to create a unique urban adventure to show people how easy it is to get around in Charlotte without driving! We also raised over $33,000 for Sustain Charlotte!

The picture and video speak for themselves!  Check out our Facebook page to see Biketoberfest photos and watch our video recap below. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and talent to make this event possible!  We couldn’t have done it without you. Read the full recap of the 2017 event here.

What is Biketoberfest?

This unique event shows hundreds of people how easy it is to get around Charlotte without driving!

  • Bike around town to fun destinations while collecting stamps in your official Biketoberfest Passport!

  • The stamps you collect on your passport at official destinations will be entered in a raffle for many fantastic prizes! The more destinations you visit, the more chances you'll have to win!
  • Gather for an after party celebration with live music and an exciting raffle!

Why Should You Come?

To have fun getting around the city without driving and to support Sustain Charlotte as your community advocate for biking in the Charlotte metro area!

Children under age 18 may participate for free if accompanied by a paying (registered) parent or guardian.

All proceeds will benefit Sustain Charlotte and our Bicycle Program!
