Your voice made a difference! Charlotte City Council unanimously voted to approve Charlotte BIKES on May 22nd!
Next Monday, City Council will vote on Charlotte BIKES, CDOT’s plan over the next five years to work toward making it safer for people of all ages and abilities to use a bicycle for transportation, fun, and fitness. We have worked closely with CDOT on strengthening the draft bike plan during the public input period, and now we need YOU to voice your support!
To ensure this plan is approved, City Council needs to hear from you! Be sure and tell them you not only support Charlotte BIKES, but that you also want to see it funded immediately. (Read the reasons why we support Charlotte BIKES.)
