Transit and transportation: What's the path forward in growing Charlotte?

Join UNC Charlotte's Urban Institute at noon on Oct. 20 for a virtual conversation with local and national experts about transit and transportation in Charlotte, and where we should spend limited dollars.

The panelists will include Jason Lawrence, director of planning for the Charlotte Area Transit System; Elizabeth Delmelle, associate professor in UNC Charlotte's Department of City and Regional Planning and is the director of the Master of Urban Spatial Analytics program at the University of Pennsylvania; Maureen Gilewski, chair of the transportation committee for Charlotte EAST; and Meg Fencil, director of engagement and impact at Sustain Charlotte. The moderator will be Ely Portillo, director of research engagement at the Charlotte Urban Institute.
