Sustain Charlotte Social: Equity + Growth in Charlotte

Register today!

On January 31 from 6pm to 8pm, Sustain Charlotte is hosting a public panel discussion with Charlotte City Council Members about equity and smart growth. The purpose of this event is to discuss how Charlotte can grow equitably and give the public an opportunity to ask questions.

Join us beginning at 6:00 for light fare and social time. From 6:30-6:40, Sustain Charlotte will give a short presentation about how our city is growing, followed by a 30-minute moderated panel discussion with City Council members. This free event includes ample time for audience questions and comments and an opportunity to meet fellow Charlotte-area residents who care about the future of our city.

Council Members Ajmera, Graham, Mitchell, Driggs, Brown, and Mayor Pro Tem Anderson will be in attendance.

Location: The event will be at Town Brewing, 800 Grandin Road. The venue can be reached by CATS bus route 5 (W Morehead St) and Stewart Creek Greenway. Parking is available in front of the venue.

While we won't have childcare available, you're welcome to bring your kids and supervise them.

Accessibility: We want this event to be welcoming and accessible for everyone. If you require accommodations due to a disability, please contact Hope at [email protected]. 72-hour notice is appreciated to allow us time to ensure we fully meet your needs.
