Sustain Charlotte Selected for Social Entrepreneurs Competition

Nonprofit organization Sustain Charlotte will participate in SEED20, a social entrepreneur competition launched by Social Venture Partners Charlotte.  Sustain Charlotte and 19 other groups were chosen as the program’s inaugural class. Social Venture Partners Charlotte had 86 applicants for SEED20. Other groups selected include Urban League of Central Carolinas, Charlotte Teachers Institute, Easter Seals UCP and Charlotte Community ToolBank.  Sustain Charlotte and its founder and director, Shannon Binns, has served as an advocate for the local environmental and conservation community since its start in early 2010.
