The push for greener energy has hit the Carolinas. Those who live in the area have seen farms on the outskirts of their cities. Very soon a North Carolina city will get a different kind of farm.

Sustain Charlotte’s Meg Fencil said, “It will provide the greenhouse gas reduction benefit equivalent to taking about 24,000 cars off the road per year.”
100% zero carbon emissions by 2030 has been the goal of the city of Charlotte. It looks like this plan brings them to about 19% of that goal. So the city is making progress.
