Join us on Tuesday, July 7 to kick off our second Green Drinks Charlotte + Sustain Charlotte Monthly Mixer! We'll gather at The Liberty from 6:00 to 7:30 for an informal and fun evening of conversation and networking. There are no membership requirements and everyone is warmly welcomed. Our Monthly Mixers provide an opportunity where you can learn more about us, our partners, and meet others interested in local sustainability issues!
At 6:30, you'll hear from Sustain Charlotte's Silver Partner, Greffen Systems! Greffen Systems provides energy and emissions saving technology for both the Public and Private sectors. Based upon established technology, Greffen Systems products are proven to reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption by up to 25 percent with typical payback in fewer than 24 months!
Tara Onufrak from Mecklenburg County will share exciting news about the 2015 Race to the Beach commute challenge that Sustain Charlotte, NC Air Awareness, and CATS are co-hosting! Don't worry, it's not an actual race. It's a contest with lots of fun prizes and challenges to motivate Charlotteans to commute more sustainably in the summer months when air pollutions is worst. You'll even have a chance to register for Race to the Beach at the mixer! Did we mention it's entirely FREE?
