Grow Smart CLT: What's Driving Climate Change?

In the US, the ways that we travel and build our communities contribute more climate pollution than any other source. If the Charlotte area is to meet its adopted goal of becoming a low carbon city by 2050, and do our part in the climate fight, we need to make better decisions today.

Join us for a very special event as we hear from Charlotte's youth about their concerns for the future. Charlotte Lab School intern Zoe Brodeur will share the research she did with Sustain Charlotte to explain how transportation and land use decisions being made in Charlotte are impacting the climate. We'll also hear from youth climate activist Shruti Agrawal and the City of Charlotte's Chief Climate & Resiliency Officer Sarah Hazel as we explore ways to fight climate change through individual, government, and collaborative efforts.
We'll share some ways that you can help support a healthy climate for generations to come! The event is free and open to the public. Register now!
