Join us Wednesday, May 8 for our Grow Smart CLT event! Come mingle, drink, and think with us! Food wil be provided.
Charlotte is in the process of finalizing the vision for what will be a transformative project for the SouthPark neighborhood. An approximately 3 mile urban design corridor project that will not only connect adjacent neighborhoods around the central core of the SouthPark business district but will also provide a mixed facility environment for bicycles and pedestrians that will allow people to make easier connections throughout SouthPark without getting in their vehicles.
When complete, the framework plan will highlight opportunities for positive quality of life enhancements, “place-making” and immediate and long-term economic development benefits.
Kyle Baugh with Kimley-Horn, the lead design consultant for the Framework Plan currently underway, will present the vision behind the Loop, national best practices for similar facilities, as well as case study examples of what a facility like this will mean to the community.
Tickets are $10 for non-Sustain Charlotte members (donate at least $5/month or $60/year) and free for members.
