Join the Grier Heights Community Improvement Organization and Sustain Charlotte's Community Corps for a fun family-friendly 1.5 mile walk through one of Charlotte's most vibrant historic neighborhoods! We'll celebrate the neighborhood's history, active transportation, and health & wellness while honoring the memory of devoted community leader Jonathan Belton.
You'll enjoy:
- A clearly marked and safe walking route.
- Friendly volunteers and residents sharing the neighborhood's history along the walk.
- Health and wellness activities at the Community Center.
- Info about active transportation and a fun kid's activity at the Sustain Charlotte table.
A note from the Grier Heights Community Improvement Organization:
We are so excited about this walk for Mr. Belton. He was a wonderful individual who loved his community and family. So we are ecstatic about this event and over joyed about showing the love we want to show for him. In lieu of a registration fee we are asking everyone to bring a monetary donation. All proceeds will go towards the Health and Wellness efforts at the Grier Heights Community Center in honor of Jonathan Belton.
