Virtual Launch of the Charlotte Regional Transportation Coalition

Join us as we celebrate the launch of the new Charlotte Regional Transportation Coalition!

We’re the Charlotte Regional Transportation Coalition. We need your help to shape and build the multifaceted transportation networks that will make this wonderful area safe, accessible, and equitable for everyone.

We envision a vibrant Charlotte region that’s fully connected through investments in walking, biking, and public transit options — safe, sustainable, and equitable options that enhance the quality of life for all people and communities.

Why should you care about the future of transportation in our region?  CRTC’s regional focus is a recognition of transportation’s role in improving community quality of life and expert recommendations that connect good transportation options to economic mobility. The organization’s theme is “Connecting Now for The Future.”

There are many ways you can contribute to our mission of an equitably and sustainably connected Charlotte. Adding your unique point of view helps us connect NOW to what’s possible for the future of our community.

The Charlotte Regional Transportation Coalition is a diverse, local coalition convened and facilitated by Sustain Charlotte that supports efforts to develop multi-modal transportation projects and encourage safe and convenient transportation connectivity -- all with an eye toward equitable development, safety, environmental mobility. We are a new and evolving coalition. We are now in the process of building our membership and external alliances; we intend to be heavily engaged in the regional discussion of transportation and other relevant policies over the coming months and years.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
