Study: North Carolina making inroads on electric vehicles, but more work needed

Our Executive Director Shannon Binns was interviewed for this Charlotte Business Journal article about North Carolina's transition towards electric vehicles. 

[Binns] pointed to plans by the local transit system to convert its entire bus fleet to electric vehicles as a sign of momentum for the city and for North Carolina.

“Vehicular emissions are the largest source of greenhouse gases in the United States and they’re second in North Carolina,” Binns said. “Cars are mini fossil-fueled power plants and they’re everywhere.”
