Our GivingTuesdayCLT campaign starts today and we need YOUR help to make it a success!
Giving Tuesday in on November 29th, which means we only have two weeks to reach our goal of raising $7,500 to support the work we do everyday to make it safer and easier to get around Charlotte without a car and help more Charlotteans access economic opportunities!
For every $150 we raise, one car will be removed from the road and the driver will take a seat on the bus!
Do you share our vision of a Charlotte community where everyone, regardless of income, has the opportunity to safely and conveniently access jobs, education, and healthy food?
In a rapidly growing city such as ours (44 new people move to Charlotte every day!), it is critical that all members of our community are connected to opportunity. This will only be achieved by building a network of safe bike lanes and sidewalks, and a more convenient and accessible public transit system.
We've been working hard every day to educate, engage, and unite Charlotte area residents and local leaders to address transportation as a local sustainability issue.
Through our transportation advocacy work, including the launch of our #iBikeCLT campaign this year, we're moving our city towards a more sustainable and equitable transportation network, but we can't do it without you!
As a community-based charitable non-profit, we depend on the financial support of local residents like you to continue our important work in the community.
Please donate TODAY and show your support for a healthy, equitable, and connected community! Your donation today will be DOUBLED thanks to a $1,000 matching gift from OrthoCarolina!

Does your neighborhood have bus stops without sidewalks, crosswalks, shelter, or benches? Share your photos and stories of unwalkable bus stops so we can take a closer look and bring them to the attention of city staff and elected officials.
Thanks to a grant from TransitCenter, we're shining a light on area bus stops that could use a little (or a lot) of love and walkability improvements. We'll share your stories and photos on social media, in our newsletter, and on our website. Visit our project page to get involved!
Larry Kopf, who is leading the CATS bus network re-design, spoke and gathered survey input at our Monthly Mixer!
Good news! Improvements are coming to the Charlotte area bus network!
Charlotte's transit riders are about to hear about a major effort that holds the potential to revolutionize their daily travel experience!
CATS' Envision My Ride initiative will gather public input as the transit agency begins a major re-design of the bus network. Over the coming months, CATS will apply state of the art planning and best practices from cities like Seattle and Houston to create a superior transit network that will meet the needs of our growing population.

How does great leadership happen?
At our Monthly Mixer last week, we were joined by Jon Davis of the Center for Intentional Leadership, who gave a fantastic presentation on leadership.
In a message that resonated deeply with attendees, Jon spoke about the importance of self care for leaders to avoid burnout. Organizations can support their leaders by nurturing the whole individual, rather than focusing solely on how many hours that person is in the office.
