By 2050, the Charlotte region may not have enough water to meet the needs of all users and 4 out of every 5 streams in Mecklenburg County isn't safe for humans or pets. But we have the power to make a difference!

During this lunch & learn , we'll lead your employees through an interactive exercise to reveal all the ways they use water in a typical day. They'll learn:

1. Where the water they use at home and work comes from, and why the Catawba River Basin is vital to our economic and environmental sustainability.

2. The unexpected connections between transportation, energy use, and water quality.

3. Simple tips for using less water at home, at work, and in daily life,, including how to install simple water-saving fixtures like faucet aerators and low-flow shower-heads.

This lunch & learn includes a consultation to discuss practical ways to conserve water through inexpensive repairs/modifications and changes to the way water is used throughout your facility.

Email meg.fencil@sustaincharlotte.org to discuss how we can help you.
