On the second Wednesday of every month*, we host a mixer in partnership with Green Drinks Charlotte. We gather at Free Range Brewing from 6:00 to 7:30 for an informal and fun evening of conversation and networking. There are no membership requirements and everyone is warmly welcomed. Our Monthly Mixers provide an opportunity to learn more about us, our partners, and meet others interested in local sustainability issues!

Over 300 attended the 2016 Sustain Charlotte Awards Celebration!
This year marks our sixth annual awards, and what makes this event unique is that it brings together sustainability leaders from a range of disciplines and sectors: for profit, nonprofit, and government.
As always, the evening will be a memorable and exciting affair that honors and celebrates our most outstanding local sustainability leaders and attracts many of Greater Charlotte’s highest profile leaders, elected officials, and media. This event has sold out every year, and over 300 community leaders and influencers attended our 2016 Awards.
On April 26, 2017 at LaCa Projects Gallery, we will recognize all of our nominees and present awards to the winners!
Awards are presented to local organizations in the following categories:
• Land Use
• Sustainable Economy
• Waste Reduction
• Social Equity
In addition, one award will be presented to the 2017 Outstanding Sustainability Leader.

Start: Recover Brands (1518 Bryant St, Charlotte, NC 28208)
End: Blue Blaze Brewing (528 S Turner Ave, Charlotte, NC 28208)
Participants will walk to Recover Brands to *check-in. At check-in you will receive your:
- Event wristband (that gets you discounts and special offers at participating businesses that evening)
- Free event t-shirt
- A map that includes a suggested walking route and list of participating businesses
In addition, we will ask you to record the distance you traveled (by foot) to get to Recover Brands.
Once you're all checked-in you'll be free to enjoy the evening walking to various local shops and restaurants that will be offering specials and deals to participants! Our suggested walking route ends a Blue Blaze Brewing, so be sure to meet us there for a refreshing local brew and an opportunity to mix and mingle with friends and neighbors!
*You may check-in anytime between 5pm-7pm, but please note that t-shirts (sizes, colors) will be first come-first serve!
