Flywheel Group and its partners have assembled approximately 43 acres in the distinctive NoDa Greenway District, Charlotte’s first light rail and greenway-oriented development situated in the sought after NoDa area.

NoDa has quickly become a magnet for millennial growth and a resulting development surge due to its cultural cachet and broad appeal with an arts-focused culture, vibrant pedestrian-friendly atmosphere, and notable restaurants, breweries, and entertainment venues.

With the 2017 opening of the Blue Line light rail extension, the NoDa Greenway District is connected with Uptown’s impressive job base, UNC-Charlotte’s rapidly expanding student population, as well as residential and employment nodes in South Charlotte and University City.

Join us on October 11th to hear more!

    Schedule:

    - 6:00: Check-in and networking.
    - 6:45: Presentation from featured speaker
    - 7:10: Sustain Charlotte announcements
    - 7:30: Raffle

To have fun getting around the city without driving and to support Sustain Charlotte as your community advocate for biking in the Charlotte metro area!

Experience two protected bike lane demonstration projects!  The first will connect the Irwin Creek and Stewart Creek Greenways along 5th and 6th Street in Uptown —  this is the connection that we’ve been advocating for via our #IBIKECLT campaign since March of 2016!  The second demonstration will run along Mint Street from the Panthers Stadium into the Gold District.

Want to help with the protected bike lane demonstration?  We are looking for volunteers to help with painting the street, planting flowers, and bringing tactical urbanism to Uptown!  Volunteers get a free ticket to Biketoberfest and event t-shirt!  Sign up here!

Children under age 18 may participate for free if accompanied by a paying (registered) parent or guardian.

All proceeds will benefit Sustain Charlotte and our Bicycle Program!
